Not a death but when Percy and Annabeth fell into Tartarus. Idk why but it really changed me. I cried for like 30 minutes after reading that and I just cry more generally now
jASON DIES? I am NOT okay. HE WAS MY BOYFRIEND. just as i was gonna buy the lost hero in english so i can finally read all 5 books (only the first 3 are translated into romanian so far) without getting confused by random names that were translated into romanian that make me lose the plotttttt. well, i did this to myself lol.
It's hard to make me cry but when I reread the books I cried when Bianca died because I knew how Nico reacted. Also, I cried when Leo died cause I really thought he was dead for a second there and then I was like oh my gods he's not dead and almost immediately stopped crying.
Surprisingly, only Bianca. I remember being at school and people were like, “girl are you okay?????”
No character death has ever made me cry b4 (I’ve been really close tho) but when Percy and Annabeth fell into Tartarus, I was staring at a wall for legit 30 minutes. So… maybe that counts?
Yes, I started crying when Percy and Annabeth fell. I wasn't expecting it and I was not ready for them to almost die.
*spoilers for toa* I cried when Jason died and cried when frank “died” bc they just lost Jason and I thought Rick was evil enough to kill frank too and Leo’s reaction to Jason’s death…
*spoilers for toa* I cried when Jason died and cried when Frank “died” bc they just lost Jason and I thought Rick was evil enough to kill Frank too and Leo’s reaction to Jason’s death…Yeah, me too! I MAY have thrown the book when Jason died. Also, Bianca, Zoe, Beckendorf, Silena, Bob
Like all bazillion. The ones that immediately come to mind are Jason, Zoe, Beckendorf, Silena, and Bianca
I was the same way. I wasn't sure that I wanted to read the ToA series, cuz I already knew he died since I read the Sun and the Star.
This wasn't an actual death, but I cried when I thought Frank died in the fourth ToA books. Also Bianca and Zoe
I was so depressed about Leo (even though he came back). I also was so sad about Jason, Silena, and Beckendorf!
leo (yeah he came back but still)zoe
bob (he didnt deserve that)
oh and when nico asked where bianca was but idk if that counts because i didnt cry over her actual death)
and all of these were when i was recently rereading because for some reason i never used to cry over books, but now i shed at least a few tears)
I have not really cried over any deaths from any books but I did feels horribly sad and hollow and emppty at the above mentioned characters deaths. Two underrated deaths that I want to add are Ethan Nakamura and Michael Yew
