Stellar Heir follows Jael Ked'Korhva, a scavenger traveling through space with his companion, Goni, aboard their ship, Zigzagunda. They operate on the fringes of the galaxy, salvaging wreckage from battles and derelict ships. During one such mission, Jael discovers an unusual artifact that sets off a chain of mysterious events, drawing him deeper into a conflict that spans the galaxy.

As Jael and Goni attempt to unravel the secrets of the artifact, they are pursued by various dangerous factions, including pirates and an ancient alien race, both of whom are after the same powerful technology. The story blends high-stakes space exploration, conflict, and the mystery surrounding ancient civilizations and their artifacts. The deeper Jael dives into the mystery, the more he realizes how connected he is to events that could shape the fate of the galaxy.
