18 -- A Character Who Can Fly
I will find this book accidentally when I’m reading something and a character is a pilot, or I might read some history and there will be pilots. Listopia didn’t have anything jumping out at me
The Shady Hollow series by Juneau Black. It's about an animal town and one of the side characters is a raven.
I have just finished Disney Villains The Essential Guide New Edition by D.K. Publishing. Even though not a villain, Peter Pan is mentioned. Also Iago, the parrot from Aladdin; Maleficent in her dragon form from Sleeping Beauty and Syndrome from the Incredibles.

“Realms of the Dead” by Sharon K. Gilbert (book 6 of the Redwing Saga) has many flying characters! It has angels, fallen angels who transform into ravens, and dragons. The good angels transform into owls at times. A great series!
Gail W wrote: " The Ardent Swarm, which includes killer bees"I read that book last year ! It was a decent book after I finally got into it. I think some parts of the book dragged but it picked up. I was expecting something different but I'm happy I finished it . Enjoy & happy reading :)
Evil by the Sea by Kathleen Bridge 2/14/25 https://titlesurfingwithtraci.blogspo...

I read Swearing at a Sea Monster ( Folk Haven #3) by Lauren Connolly. A town of mythical creatures who also have human forms. Satine, Nicki & Neri are sirens ( also known as Dragons). Really cool book, gave it 5 stars.
I read How to Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell. Toothless obviously can fly, although compared to his movie form he doesn't always want to :P
In The Emperor's Blades by Brian Staveley, some of the characters "fly" on the back of a giant bird.
Ok .... I read in February Lenny Among GhostsbyFrank Maria Reifenberg and noticed it would fit this challenge. There where definitely flying ghost.
I finally got around to reading Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. I'm not really into romantacies but it wasn't half bad.
A children's middle grade book about Superman is coming out in the summer. I hope the release adult books as well, but in the mean time I'm excited for this because it's Superman!Welcome to Metropolis: The Prequel Junior Novel
I read The Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi for this topic. The book featured a helicopter pilot as well as the kaijus who could fly
