Edlyn was here, worried about the amount of blood she lost

Kai was holding her hand "It will be alright love trust me."

A Doctor came in. "My name Is Helena Mierez and I'll be taking care of you today. I was told you're worried about your child." Shivering Edlyn said. "Yeah, I had coughed up some blood. I just learned I was pregnant

Kai nodded, "We just want to make sure her and the baby are alright."

Instructing her to lie down, she brought over a sonogram machine. "This will give me a good idea of where the baby's at."

"Want me to wait out there or..?"

Edlyn raised her hand to him. "You weren't here for Nazo's.

"Okay I'll stay.

Pressing her head against his hand, she waited tense as Dr. Helena spread some jelly on her stomach.

Kai watched also waiting for something.

Slowly a picture of a fetus appeared. It appeared to be barley moving, a small scar could be seen on its. side.

"I was right."

"Why isn't the baby moving?" This frightened her. "I'm...not sure. I don't even know how it got that scar. Most newborns are born without any deficiencies

I know why. I'll tell you after.

Looking at Dr. Helena, she asked, "Will the baby be okay?" The doctor seemed to examine the baby more. "I think you need some R&R. Nothing strenuous."

Kai took a breath of relief.

Wiping the gel off of her stomach, Dr. Helena stood up. "I'll expect you at your next examination in 3 months. Besides the scar, your baby looks healthy, if a bit small.

Kai's head spun for a moment but stopped.

Getting her clothes back on Edlyn looked at Kai kinda shy.

Kai kissed Edlyn's Forehead.

"I can't believe we're pregnant again." Her eyes were closed against his kiss. "Nazo's gonna be so happy.

"We need to talk."

She looked around to make sure Dr. Helena wasn't around. "At home?'

"Yes."
