Washington is reeling from the news that Christopher Nelson, the President’s son, was responsible for trying to undermine Nick and outs him as Vice President and the murder of Sam’s ex-husband. Did you think the President was in the dark about all of this?

If he was unaware, it doesn't say much for him as a father - IIRC, Christopher had been in legal trouble before...
If he was aware, he was complicit knowingly or by turning a blind eye.

Either way, he doesn't deserve to be president. Regardless, Nick becoming president would be ridiculous (even more than his becoming VP).

Who knows? I feel like the President was telling Nick the truth when he said he had no idea that his son was behind these incidents. But, I don't trust politicians at all. Most of them don't know how to tell the truth.

I think the President should have known something was up. But Christopher is a grown man, and he has to be accountable for his own actions.

The family of politicians often makes more news than the politicians themselves. However, I agree with Robin that politicians are skilled liars.
