Well, after feeling a little intimidated by the prospect of tackling this book (not sure why - maybe the subject matter) I’m only on chapter 2! and really enjoying it. I also really enjoyed Yellowface.

I've read this January 2024, so won't be rereading it. But I'm curious to see what everyone thinks. I feel like you need to be into a very specific type of book to enjoy this

The only other book I read from R.F Kuang is the first tome of Poppy War which I really liked and still need to read the other book of the saga so Im really excited to start Babel !

This is next up for me. Really looking forward to it.
