Jane | 404 comments The Once and Future King (White)
The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle (Murakami)

Is The Savage Detectives long enough? I see editions that range from 577 to 656.

Gail (gailifer) | 2212 comments And is 2666 by Bolano considered too long? There is a paperback edition that is over 1,100 pages but the regular editions are 898 or 912.

message 6: by Gail (new)

Gail (gailifer) | 2212 comments Oh, never mind. I see that 2666 is in the yearly line up.

Gail (gailifer) | 2212 comments I second Patrick’s The Betrothed and Gravity’s Rainbow and add The Idiot which was a quarterly read before my time.
