Kelsie Rae! I really connect with her writing style. She is really good at making all her characters in her books super interesting that keeps you hooked :)
I have many favourite authors. They're E.R. Eddison, Tad Williams, Marta Stewart, Barbara Hambly, Andrew Schvarts, Patricia McKillip, Cecelia Darn-Thornton, Rebecca Roanhorse and many, many others. Some have great writing styles, some create great characters and fictional worlds, and some can do both. There are a few authors I've only read one book from, but they're already becoming my favourites. They are Elizabeth Hopkinson, Heather Marsh, Maria Kaznir and Shannon Hale.

Wow, that's awesome! Thanks! I'll check them out!

Model Behavior from the Wrecked Roommates series!
Her two newer series (Dont Let Me & The Little Things) are all interconnected, so I would read Wrecked Roommates then Don't Let Me & The Little Things. But

Joe Abercrombie and it isn't close for me. First law series is a must read for any fan of fantasy and grimdark.
Rn I’m liking Marissa Meyer, I actually got to meet her at a book signing, and I really enjoy her books :)
Kenzie, that’s awesome, I checked it out. And I’m curious about Joe Abercrombie too, thanks, Dale!

Terry Pratchett. I think he's smart and witty. His books are very imaginative. His vision of the world is close to mine.
Well...I already said it was a woman named Lesli Wilder. She just has such a gift for story and prose. One of those that makes me bow down and go "I am not worthy".... but she does not have a body of work I can point to.
I may have to go with GRRM. Game of thrones is so masterfully done that I was amazed at his ability in writing it. In just the opening he captured the taste of Iron as one held a knife in his mouth to climb, and the sweat stains on the hafts of swords....details so skillfully added, and just more than I would have thought... plus the story and characters are very good as well. He is a master.
But....that does not really make him a fav.
I am not really sure who my favorite recognizable author is. Possibly Robert E Howard. His prose is sometimes close to purple, but still...he immerses. And his writing captures something of the spirit of man against all else.
