Donald | 13 comments 'Rethinking Economics' is "a global network of students and organisers fighting for a new way of teaching and practising economics so that it truly helps us deal with the real-world challenges we all face today like climate collapse and inequality".

This week I attended the launch of their new report "Is economics education fit for the 21st century?" It reviews the teaching of twenty economics departments from across Britain, looking at what is taught and what isn’t.

I think it's an organisation that would likely be of interest to people in the Green Group. It operates in various countries, not just the UK, and is influenced by the Doughnut Economics idea. Do others know it or have a view?

I have not heard of this but as a science fiction writer I would be interested in alternative systems for our future.
