I am thrilled that I have gotten this far in this challenge! I do not know if I will complete this mountain in 2024, but I will give it a good attempt.

1. Winter Cottage by Mary Ellen Taylor

This Kindle book was added to my TBR in 2022. 4*

It has two timelines essentially - that of the mother (Beth) and that of the daughter (Lucy). Beth's story is connected to Mrs. B, who lived in the Winter Cottage. Lucy inherited the cottage and is searching for info about her father. I found the ending both surprising and satisfying.

2. The Crushers by Bronwyn Rodden

Another Kindle book added in 2022.

I am abandoning this climb and will restart it in 2025.
