Hi! I’m a diehard hunger games fan! I red it in like the fourth grade and I fell in love with the storyline. I love the characters too and the underlying message that Susan’s Collins is trying to make. I’m just looking for other hunger games fans!

Omgggg I love the hunger games! I read it in about 5th grade and have been a diehard fan ever since!
I’ve been wanting to read the hunger games but I haven’t had a chance yet. Idk even know the whole storyline 🤣Could you give me a synopsis?
So basically we have a fmc who lives in a dystopian communist country called panem. She lives in one of the districts that supplies things to the capital. Years ago a war broke out between the districts and the capital. Many were killed but ultimately the capital won. As punishment for the war, the capital puts on a battle to the death game each year where both a female and male are picked to play in the game. You enter a draft of sorts starting at 13 until ur 18. You follow the protagonist in her journey with the capital. It’s very good, it has philosophy in easily digestible chunks. I would actually recommend reading the prequel, “a ballad of songbirds and snakes” before you read the first book because it gives you some background information first. I really hope you read it! It’s going to be one of the classics one day.
Which book is y’all’s favorite? Ballad of songbirds and snakes, the first one, the second one, or the third one?
