I enjoyed it too. Coincidentally I've been reading a book on all the variations on the Faust story so the idea of the "Brass Head of Bacon" was fresh in my mind.

Ryan Dash (ryandash) | 109 comments Decent story. The idea of a robot having limited vocabulary seems a bit quaint now in this era of generative AI. But the emotional awakening of the robot was well done, as was its communication with the girl once you accept the vocabulary limitation.
