Kim (kimkienzle) | 74 comments Light and entertaining, this Jackson Brody mystery goes on and on with background about every single character longer than it should. The last third of the book is the best, although confusing with the unnecessary addition of a bunch of characters at the end. There is a satisfying ending but other than that I give this a solid 3 - it was ok.

Jgrace | 3995 comments We will have to disagree about this one. I thought it was great fun.
I've learned to expect meandering storytelling from Atkinson. Her characters indulge in rambling streams of irrelevant thoughts. I enjoy the irony and sarcasm. They're full of human flaws and I like them. This book made me laugh.

NancyJ (nancyjjj) | 11274 comments I didn’t even know about this one. I’m pretty sure I have a Jackson Brody book on my library. Her writing still is meandering, but I usually like her books. The 1920’s book was a little too joyless for me though.
