Please nominate one or two weird reads you think the group will enjoy reading and discussing for February. Please keep in mind that February is the shortest month of the year. Therefore, nominating a 1001 short stories collection is perfectly okay, not to mention challenging. We can all read 35-36 stories per day to finish right on time.

I nominate The Opener of the Way by Robert Bloch. This collection of early Bloch weird fiction stories, long out of print, is set to be republished and released (for Kindle) January 7, 2025 by Valancourt Publishing.https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I nominate The Sapphire Goddess: The Fantasies of Nictzin Dyalhis. During his lifetime Nictzin Dyalhis had published eight novelettes and a short story in the weird genre. All eight novelettes were published in Weird Tales between 1925 and 1940. The short story had a co-writer, Eric Marston, and was published in a magazine titled Ghost Stories in 1927. All nine of these weird tales are reproduced in this eBook I nominate. Nictzin Dyalhis, due to his limited output, is a distinctly underrated weird writer. His stuff really sparkles.

Well! I don't want to run a poll with just two nominations. I think whenever I have fewer than five I will just supplement with the top unread (by the group) books from this list: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1... in order to have five choices.
