In Trupp's newest "Jewish" Austen Fan Fiction (known in the Austenesque world as J.A.F.F.), she focuses on the secondary character of Miss Harriet Smith. This is a light, clean read, of course, in keeping with Austen's style and Trupp's preference. However, the author very cleverly threads her passion of combining Regency and Jewish storylines. The end result is that Austen's protagonist, Miss Emma Woodhouse, learns more about her true self, just as Miss Harriet Smith must.
