I don't think it's possible to overstate the importance and power of Between the World and Me, written by Ta-Nehisi Coates as a letter to his then teenaged son. Who decided what "race" is ... and why?

This didn't work for me as well as the earlier books of the series. The mystery was quite weak, though the mush was spot on.
