Ok so I did burr baskets with my friend and I worked so hard on mine! And when I saw the one she made for me I just said “Oh thanks……” She regifted stuff she had to me😭😭😭
Girl, that's so ignorant of them like give them to somebody or take them to your local library so they wont be sitting on your bookshelf I'm sure there is somebody who wants to read them
Okay, I'd either sell them, donate them at the local library or find someone interested in the books despite the condition they're in.

Regift them to someone.
Regift them to someone.

lmaoooo same
My grandma for Christmas got me clothes that are like three sizes too big and the clothes are so ugly. I shoved them in the back of my dresser lol
A few years ago, we had a Secret Santa event at school, and the teacher specifically instructed us not to give food gifts. On my "Things I Like" card, I mentioned my favorite activities: horseback riding, crocheting, and reading.
The next day, the girl who had me for Secret Santa gave me a Target bag with a bunch of candy icons on it. Inside, there was, you guessed it, a big bag of candy. Unfortunately, it was the one candy I can't eat: Jolly Ranchers, due to my braces. I politely said, "Thank you, Ausha, but I can't have Jolly Ranchers." She responded, "Oh, okay," then took the bag to her desk, ripped it open, and started eating the candy!

I got one of those book holder things, where you put thumb in it and against the paper of the book, and it holds it open for you. Do you know what I'm talking about? I posted a chat like this, telling the same story in more detail, but I'll tell it again.
Anyway, I got that thing from my ex for Christmas, and I was really excited to open it because it's my first Christmas gift from my first boyfriend, right?
I opened it in front of him, and he said, "And it was only, like, three bucks, so that's a plus."
I got him a frame with a note inside and a Morse Code Bracelet that said "Always here"
Come on, man! 😭
Out of nowhere, my alcohol-imbibing sister mailed me an AA Big Book. I was pissed off. I don't drink anymore - not because of that - but the same sister is almost 60 and living with and mooching off our elderly parents (3 years now!). She smokes Marlboros and downs beer from 10 am to bedtime. That is it. Oh, she also likes to incite a lot of drama.
I kinda want to send that effing book back to her.
I would donate the books to your local library, homeless shelter, Goodwill, or church (depending on what books they are, haha).
yeah but basically the frustration of getting someone a really nice gift(s) and packaging it nicely and taking time to buy a gift, and then you get a careless gift in return that they probably spent less than a minute thinking about and wrapping. LIKE? i actually get so pissed off
throw it back in their face*sadly i didnt do that when my mom and dad gave me even more siblings

I got a diamond painting when I was 5 from my (moms side) grandma and I SPEFICALLY told her I don't like diamond paintings. its sitting on my dresser rn
It depends. Normally I'll keep it in my closet, so if they ask I can show it to them. If it's really bad, I'll get rid of it immediately and say I lost it (which they believe because I lose everything)
Give it to a friend, donate it, or if its a worth decent amount of money I sell it on this app where you can sell ur old stuff, similar to Etsy. It’s called Mercari if anyone’s heard of it.
Sell em or use them for diy crafts.(Like if you use Resin u could cut the words out of the pages and make book earrings or smth)
If it's genuinely something I know I won't use or like, I keep it in the packaging and gift it to someone who I know will like it! (only if it comes new and is still in the packaging)
Yeah, secret santa's normally aren't that great. I'd just smile, thank them and take it home. Generally with gifts I'd never use, but are still nice, I either regift to people I'm not too close to (distant family, coworkers, etc.), see if anyone else would want it, or donate. Since your books are stained I'd donate them to goodwill, the library, a church, or wherever they'll take it. If it's beyond saving damaged, just throw it away.
