Dylanists discussion

This is a public group, started to provide a collection place for critiques, analyses, articles and reflections on the literary merits (or deficits) of Bob Dylan's songs.

Feel free to post any articles you find, and any of your own original writings.

I expect that these may range from analysis of the individual songs (such as I've just posted on the "Visions Of Johanna" thread), to articles about Dylan's impact and overall oeuvre.

Any aspect of Dylan's art should be considered fair game for discussion here.

Also of interest are book recommendations and reviews of books by and about Dylan, which anyone may add.

I hope everyone will feel encouraged to respond to whatever it is they are reading. However, if this simply comes to be a spot where a few of us can keep track of some of our favourite writings by and about Dylan the singer, songwriter and poet, then that's cool too.
