Play Book Tag discussion

This installment of the Maisie Dobbs series set in 1932, includes an American family searching for information about their soldier son whose body was finally recovered, along with some love letters. The story was quote satisfying, with interesting inheritance and personal issues. This series seems to have more emotional depth than many detective series, but the level of melancholy has been high in the last couple of books. The next book is likely to involve a big change so I’m looking forward to a change in tone as well.
