Hello, I claimed EldritchPotato (EldritchPotato) as my author profile but as my book is for some reason under Eldritch_Potato (Eldritch Potato) it gives me an error message when I try to claim it. Would it be possible to move it to my profile or otherwise merge profiles together?

Hey spud you have to click the link on the author profile that says "Is this you? Let us know." Then fill out the application.

Librarians can't do this for you at all.

I tried that but I got this message "Sorry, you are already in the author program as EldritchPotato and only one author profile may be claimed at a time."

Do you need your author profile to be under “EldritchPotato”? ie no space? It looks like it was imported from Amazon with a space.

If you want to claim the author page with a space instead you will need to contact Goodreads support. They can easily move your profile in either direction.

Ok, I have moved it to your profile, but I'm not sure how you got approved without any books before.

Maybe a book was there previously and was subsequently deleted/marked as invalid/moved?

I'm fine without the space. I'll try and change it on Amazon so that in the future this issue doesn't repeat itself. Thanks so much for your help :)
