I don't understand why Suzanne killed off Finnick and let Gale live

SO real, what did Finnick’s death add to the story??

It didn't, it just hurt us.

I'm so proud! He's never read the books, and I had to force him to watch the movies, but here he is using Finnick references!

I know! I mean, he made me watch all of The Lord of the Rings (which I actually really liked, so worth it!), so it was only fair I made him watch Harry Potter, the PJO show, and Hunger Games movies!

I am glad she didn't kill off gale tho. killing off one love interest would feel like a cop out imo. so, while I would prefer him dying to finnick, I am glad he didn't

My dad's a huge nerd. Like, fantasy fan, still plays Mario at nearly 45, math wizard, LEGO fan, just an absolute legend. My mom's the one who claims it's all stupid, but I think she's a little more invested in Everlark than she'd care to admit.

Yesss! I wanna know how he won since he was so young. I mean, obviously he's just an absolute legend, but I wanna know his strategies and his experiences! Suzanne, redeem yourself from killing him and give us a Finnick book!

Yessss! He was the age I am now, and there's no way I would have survived even the Games, much less all of the trauma he must have experienced!
