I like Jude's father's reaction.After the bad experience with his Uncle, Jude's fathers reaction was good.
When he was done. He moved right to We're playing cards, who's playing.

I did decide to move it to the category for Read a book about love across cultures.Since Jude's family reactions was in part that they had a different cultural expectations.
Starting to read this now. According to GR I've read it before but (at the moment) I'm not sure that's true. We will see.
I've definitely read this before, although I don't remember very much about it. I do remember that Reece may be in his thirties but he acts more like a self-centred teenager.

I can see why changing to 'love across cultures' would be a good move. If I hadn't already read my choice for that, I would have done the same.
This was a slow read for me. I am a little over half way done and while Im interested in finishing it, it really isn't exciting for me.

I did like having a Filipino character. I think some more asian representation in MM would be great.
