I broke down and bought the audio because the library que was too long. Good Reads says I've read this book before, but I do not remember it.

I’ve tried to read this before but I am just not a short story person

I am finally starting today. I kept getting distracted by other books this month.

I don't know why I am reading this one so slowly, but I've enjoyed the first 3 stories.

I finally finished the book today. I also got easily distracted from the book and since it was short stories there wasn't as big of a draw to start reading it again. I liked the stories but none of them really stood out to me as memorable. Honestly, I enjoyed the part after the stories that talked about the folk tales they were based on more than than some of the stories.

"The Land of the Morning Calm" I have found particularly provoking. I guess I just find the mash up of (view spoiler)[on-line gaming (hide spoiler)] and (view spoiler)[ghosts (hide spoiler)] quite interesting.

Land of the Morning Calm was probably one of the few that stood out to me too.

I just finished "Spear Carrier" and it was also quite compelling.
