My preferred genres are fantasy, science fiction, clean romance, thriller and horror. All except erotica, dark romance, religion, anything with LGBTQ in it and non fiction.

If you're looking for an honest beta reader, I might be the right person for you. Let’s see why:

Reading stories has been, is, and always will be a big part of my life. Growing up, the only form of media I had access to was the written word. So I read. And I think that’s the one thing I do best.

I read stories. I read to feel something, to be moved or entertained.

And I can always tell when a story isn’t doing either.

But that was how I read. But beta-reading requires more than a passion for reading. And I make sure to bring both.

After reading each chapter, I take notes on different elements of the story, plot, structure, characters, storytelling, themes, worldbuilding, pacing, etc.

I document what did and didn't move or entertain me. What's perfectly working in the story and what's lacking. How different events add to the plot, if they do. How things are looking from a big picture point of view.

I document everything in whichever form it makes sense.

For example, I might add comments directly in the manuscript or highlight specific lines.

Then I compile everything I gathered about the story in a separate document. Whenever I point something out, I always explain why.

My rate is $1 per 1,000 words. Once I’ve finished, I’ll send you my report, and you’re welcome to ask follow-up questions.

My preferred genres are fantasy, science fiction, and romance, though I’m always open to a good story in any form.
