kay's eyes widen seeing the house while scared but trys to remain calm
He walked into his home, and towards the basement, with a slight chuckle.
kay covers her mouth to try not to cough
He placed River and Kay down on the floor, walking back up the stairs.
kay shivers worse while trying to keep river warm
River just curled up into a ball, clinging to Kay. She choked out some words, full of pain. ``I-I will keep you safe``
kay holds river "shh,don't speak,rest please sister" she coughs out
She shut her eyes, her whole body shaking.
kay holds river trying to keep her safe trying not to have her own panic as she hears footsteps again.
He was walking back down the stairs, a very small plate of food in his hand.
kay blinks while watches him carefully
kay eyes the food worried its poisoned "what do u need?"
"why? You just tried to strangle me" she sounds kinda nervous
``I mean- your blood wont taste as good if your dead``
kay sighs and eats some
River looks at the food, but doesnt eat any.
kay mutters "I've not eaten in days river i'm sorry"
"Its fine sis." she gags slightly but groans since her leg is hurting again while the fever worsens
She just whimpered as he walked over to River.
kay mutters "W.w.what are you doing?" she asked trying to get in front of river
He leaned down, moving the hair out of her face. ``Hmf, protective aren't cha``
"Yes,i am.bc its my sister" kay glares in his eyes
``Just fixing her hair, its quite pretty, don't cha think``
"Yes,it is i know,but why her,just leave her alone please,atleast while u have me" kay voice shakes but barely
kay trys to get up and grap him but fails but ends up biting his ankle "Let her go please" kays voice is somewhat frail.
He yelped, dropping River, causing her to hit her head on the floor.
kay trys to catch her and sobs slightly "n.n.noo shhh,its okay my little bird,i'm here"
River just didnt respond, a shocked look on her face.
kay sobs holding river close to her chest
She still didnt say a word, shaking.
kay hums trying to think "shh,my little bird.i'm here. sissy's here"
kay sobs holding her close "I'm sorry,i'm sorry,shh"
kay holds her rocking her
kay sobs "i'm sorry,i didn't mean him to drop you,i.i.i wanted him to take me"
kay sobs holding her close "I'm sorry river" as she hears footsteps again
He walked back up the stairs, now limping.
kay holds river carefully
He locked the door, a click being able to be heard.
kay holds river rocking herself.
