Welcome!The Fisherman is freaking fantastic!
Hunter Shea has written some fun creature features.
Harry Adam Knight has some old school creature features.
Anything by Malfi is good. Christopher Buehlman as well. One of my favorites from back in the 80's was Michael McDowell, his books KATIE, The Elementals, The Amulet, Cold Moon Over Babylon are all good.
The series by Andrew Van Wey
By the Light of Dead Stars might work for you. I'm almost finished with the second book in the series (the third book comes out at the end of the year) and it is fantastic! Small town, supernatural creatures, and great characters... I can't recommend it enough.

Currently, I'm on book number FIVE (The Fisherman by John Langan) - having read All The Fiends of Hell (Neville), No One Gets Out Alive (Neville), Small Town Horror (Malfi), and Bone White (Malfi).
I'm big into supernatural horror and creature features that explore harsh, rural, or isolated environments/landscapes - a bit of a spooky wanderlust for the outdoors.
Any recommendations? Would love to connect!
