The quest of Lana, Elijah, and Nala who are going to save the disappearing nymphs.

“Uhm… could you possibly bring us to Demeter?” Elijah said hopefully “haha! No we can’t do that silly boy we don’t know gods locations” one of the old ladies replied

“Duh.” Lana said to Elijah. “Uhm… maybe a garden? Or a place full of plants? I think that’s where she would be. Sorry for all the confusion.”

Nala could barely distinguish the Grey Sisters, as they had the same voice and looked pretty similar. “Should I go ask Chiron where we’re supposed to go?” She asked her quest mates.

( did either of y’all have any idea where these guys will head to?

also, can we have an order, maybe Luci, Raeli, then me since we have our posts in that order already kind of? )

(We can try to stick to that and I honestly have no idea where they plan on going)

Elijah was hurt by this because he didn’t like being called stupid but he tried to ignore it and was figuring out what to do then he had a good idea “what about the field of dreams that might be an idea to start with”

(Ok! We can do that! And I have no idea either)

“Oh yeah.” Lana said. She played with her hair which she had in two French braids down her back.

“What a the field of dreams?” Nala asked, never having heard of a place called that before.

“Yea-“ Elijah was cut off when the car started going so fast he almost threw up, he had never felt this way but he had also never done this before

Lana jolted forward. Not realizing she had grabbed Elijah and the seat in front of her. Her backpack slid off her lap and fell to the floor.

Nala jolted forward a bit, though was mostly calm. She looked to the front seat of the car to see the sisters fighting over the eye, which was currently in the possession of Wasp, who was driving.

Elijah was getting over the initial shock and he was realizing three things at the same time, first that he was no expert but he had a feeling that the speed they were going shouldn’t be possible, second the sisters were fighting over the eye and were almost swerving into trees which was really concerning and lastly that Lana and him were holding on to each other for dear life which gave him slight comfort

Lana didn’t let go of the seat or Elijah because that’s what was keeping her in her seat.

Nala felt the car start to come to a stop. She sighed a sigh of relief when it did.

Elijah felt the car slow down but his head was still spinning, he looked out the window and saw a huge field, at that moment he remembered that they had went through about 5states in a minute or less

“Where are we?” Lana asked looking out the window.

“Is this the “Field of Dreams”?” Nala asked the Grey Sisters.

“Yea dears we are here” said one of the old ladies. Elijah by being called dear but he opened the door and got out after he helped Lana get out

“Thank you.” Lana smiled at him. When she got out she looked around. She spotted multiple people in the field but non of them were close enough to talk to.

“Thank you ladies.” Nala said with a smile to the sisters before climbing out of the car. She had her backpack over her shoulder. “So, what do we do now?”

Elijah saw other people in the field but didn’t think it was a good idea to talk to them because it could be bad, the three just stood there not knowing what to do or where to go

“See if we can find Demeter? If she’s here.” Lana said sighing

“Do you have any idea what she might look like?” Nala asked, scanning the field to try and find any one who could be Demeter.

“Gods can look like anything” Elijah piped in. “Is there a shrine anywhere here?”

“I think so. But I also think they might speak another language…” Lana said “let’s go and find out.” Lana started walking

Nala followed, keeping her eyes pealed for a shrine.

“Are you sure it’s a good idea to just go up to random people?” Elijah asked with concern

“Yes. How else would we figure out?” Lana asked him.

“We still have to be careful of monsters though, so we should probably be ready for possible attacks.” Nala said.

“I agree with Nala let’s try to find the shrine first and Not talk to people” Elijah said

“Ok” lana said kicking the dirt. But it drifted up and got in her mouth so she started coughing

After a few minutes of wondering around, Nala spotted something looking like a shrine, and up on further examination, was in fact a shrine. She walked over to it.

Elijah was looking around for a shrine but he saw Nala had seen it so he was following her, but he grabbed Lana’s hand to make sure she wasn’t left behind

Lana relized Nala had found it and caught up to her “nice job!” She held up her hand for a high five

Nala stared at her hand for a second, feeling a memory coming up in the back of her mind. She pushed it down, concentrating at a line on Lana’s hand as she pushed down the memory. “Sorry, I don’t really do psychical touch.”

Elijah could tell Nala had trauma from the way she acted and he also knew Lana had trauma so he thought that it could hurt her but he didn’t say anything and walked right to the entrance of the shrine

“Oh yeah sorry.” Lana said, she dropped her hand and kept walking. She caught up to Elijah then whispered to him “did I do something wrong?” She asked him, slipping her hand into his.

Nala felt kind of bad as she followed behind the other two. Her questmate hadn’t meant any harm, but she hoped that Lana wouldn’t take it too harshly. She tried to push down her feelings, trying to remain neutral.

“ Lana and Elijah aren’t my friends, they are just questmates. They will forget about me the second the quest ended.” She thought to herself.

He could tell both girls were upset but since Lana had come to him for comfort he told her, “don’t worry you didn’t do anything wrong some people just….”he didn’t finish the sentence because he couldn’t say it in a way that wouldn’t hurt him to

She gave him a half hearted smile. She looked ahead and saw a woman. She was standing next to a statue of what looked to be of Demeter. The woman had wheat colored blond hair and it was super curly. She was in a white skirt that went down to her ankles and a plain sage green shirt with sandals. Lana didn’t want to approach the woman. She didn’t have a bad feeling about her but she suddenly got really nervous. Lana glanced at Elijah and squeezed his hand

Nala waited for Elijah or Lana to approach the woman, not wanting to do it herself.

Elijah definitely thought it was Demeter and almost started walking towards the woman but then realized it was never this easy so he stopped he saw the girls hesitanting and didn’t know what to do next but he was starting to tense up

“Who’s gonna…?” Lana asked hesitantly. Then she relized all of them were nervous to. So she did. “I’ll do it.” She started walking over to the woman

Elijah didn’t agree with this idea but for some reason he didn’t really have control over his body at the moment, with all he had left before he collapsed he shouted “NO” and yanked on Lana”s arm after that he collapsed and passed out

Lana fell on top of him after he pulled her. Her arm now hurt. And him yelling no had gotten the woman’s attention. And she was walking over.

Nala held onto her electric spear, ready to use it if needed.

Elijah was confused he could hear and feel but he couldn’t talk or move but he definitely felt Lana fall on him and could hear footsteps next to his ear which he assumed were the woman’s he was humbled because he thought he would protect himself them but here he was not being able to move or talk

“It looks like you kids need help.” The Woman said offering a hand to Lana. Lana hesitantly took her hand and she helped her up. “What’s your name?” The woman asked “oh uhm it’s Lana. Sorry I’m trying to find someone. And he passed out…” Lana said looking down at Elijah

He was so mad, he couldn’t believe Lana would trust this woman and say “he just passed out” as if it was not the mysterious woman’s doing
