I've been tempted to begin Deaver's 'Lincoln Rhyme' series. Since this is #6, does that mean that you've been reading sequentially through the series, or just picked this one?

I belonged to the Mystery Guild which is like "Book of the Month" and for years I bought the featured selection. So I think that I have bought the previous books but I am in the process of updating my "life list" and I am not sure if I have read them all! I have a shelf to the ceiling in the bedroom with books to read so I have mostly quit buying books from them for now. The Vanished Man was also Lincoln Rhyme (#5). I really like the series because it involves a lot of thinking by the detectives.
