Anna Wilbeck | 33 comments If ur into romantasy, def read Powerless by Lauren Roberts. It’s a trilogy (but the third book isn’t out yet)

message 8: by Anna (new)

Anna Wilbeck | 33 comments Another good romantasy is the Carival trilogy. It’s a little slow tho, took me a little bit to get hooked (I did read the first one overnight tho so not too slow)

message 9: by Anna (new)

Anna Wilbeck | 33 comments Shatter me is a hit or miss book tbh. If u don’t like it, it’s super fun to hate read, and if u do like it, u won’t b able to put it down. I started off disliking it but it’s grown on me and I can’t wait to finish the series ❤️

silas del ₊˚⊹ ᰔ (sillysilas) hii i’m trying to get into fantasy, but idk if i’m able to commit to a whole series 😭 does anyone have any one off fantasy books you’d recommend?

message 17: by readbooks (new)

readbooks | 16 comments If you want something dark academia with bl, then These Violent Delights by Micah Neveremer, it is well-written with intriguing protagonists

message 18: by readbooks (new)

readbooks | 16 comments These Violent Delights Micah Neveremer>>>The Secret History, If We Were Villians, Bunny, Babel

message 19: by readbooks (new)

readbooks | 16 comments For fantasy: The Sword of Kaigen. It might start off a bit slow, but it definitely picks up. It includes violence and cold protagonists that might grow on the reader

message 20: by readbooks (new)

readbooks | 16 comments Plus, the main characters are badass

message 21: by Kenlie (new)

Kenlie Grae | 13 comments For romance, I recommend Picking Daisies on Sundays by Liana Cincotti. it's super cute, closed door, and perfect for spring!♡

Ava ୨ৎ (showgirl version) | 643 comments Does anyone have a recommendation for a good (YA) dystopian, sci fi or mystery book? I loved the hunger games, divergent, the inheritance games, the naturals, I am number four, and skyward.

Ava ୨ৎ (showgirl version) | 643 comments I'm also ok with a realistic fiction/romance if it's really good

message 24: by dominick (new)

message 32: by chronicc_readerr (new)

chronicc_readerr | 8 comments y’all need to drop everything and read the naturals by jennifer lynn barnes!! it gets a bit darker as the series goes on and there’s no spice at all, however there is a love triangle trope. this series is 100% worth the read!!

Ava ୨ৎ (showgirl version) | 643 comments Yessss it's amazing! I need to read the second book for some reason I haven't yet

Autumn (Nerdy Silly Goose) (bookish_owl) | 30 comments rhiannon wrote: "y’all need to drop everything and read the naturals by jennifer lynn barnes!! it gets a bit darker as the series goes on and there’s no spice at all, however there is a love triangle trope. this se..."

Ava ୨ৎ (showgirl version) | 643 comments Who's your favorite character?

lizzy (elizabeth taylors version) A really good book for mystery and phycological stuff is We were liars, its kinda thriller with romance and then mystery. I also LOVED the silent patient if thats what your into :)

Autumn (Nerdy Silly Goose) (bookish_owl) | 30 comments Ava wrote: "Who's your favorite character?"

Ava ୨ৎ (showgirl version) | 643 comments I've been wanting to get into fantasy or romantasy since I mainly read dystopian and mystery, and I know a lot of people like it. I haven't read any YA fantasy books, when I was younger it was my favorite genre so if anyone has any recs please let me know :) I have Powerless, Caraval, Red queen, Shadow and bone, The cruel prince, OUABH and a few others on my TBR

message 42: by Jaida (new)

Jaida heartless by Marissa Meyer
a magic steeped in poison by Judy I lin
that's all I have sorry

Kierra~God's Version~ | 105 comments (ok yes Heartless is a must) If you’re getting into YA fantasy/romantasy, here are a few I loved (or have heard amazing things about) that aren’t over-recommended but still totally are totally amazing:

🖤 The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller
A girl plans to marry the Shadow King just to kill him and steal his throne… but of course, she catches feelings. Dark, flirty, and super addicting.

🪷 This Woven Kingdom by Tahereh Mafi
Lush worldbuilding, forbidden love, and Persian-inspired fantasy. So underrated and dramatic in the best way.

🗡️ To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
A savage siren and a prince who hunts them. Enemies to lovers with sharp banter and sea vibes.

👑 These Hollow Vows by Lexi Ryan
Fae, betrayal, love triangles. If you’re into The Cruel Prince and OUABH, this one’s for you.

🔥 Defy the Night by Brigid Kemmerer
Rebellion, slow-burn romance, and dual POVs with a Red Queen kind of edge.

💃 Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson
Strong FMC meets morally gray prince. They’re forced to work together—tension central.

🎨 An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson
Standalone fantasy with fae, art magic, and dreamy forest vibes. It’s lyrical and fast-paced!

message 44: by ~Riaa (new)

~Riaa [Hiatus] I've recently read the rose bargain and i loved it. You should give it a try if you like faeries, love triangle and betrayals.

Ava ୨ৎ (showgirl version) | 643 comments Thanks! Those all sound really good

message 46: by dominick (new)
