Classic Trash discussion

This book wasn't what I thought it would be, but I ended up liking it anyway. It came in earlier than expected at my library, so I actually finished it already. It's dystopian and a bit dark, which was a little hard for me to read especially in light of current events. However, it did pull me in and I wanted to see what happened to these characters.

I’m still waiting for my library hold to come up - might be a while.

I'm about halfway through and enjoying it so far!

I liked how the book showed the lives of ordinary people living in this dystopian world. I think it pulled me in to their lives and I could then imagine what my own life could be in this situation. It gave me more empathy.

I am boycotting Amazon right now so I'm going to the library hopefully Sunday to see if I can get it in. I tried online but unfortunately there seems to be an issue with my library card. 😧
