Mehnaz Hanife | 1 comments I absolutely loved Madonna in a Fur Coat. It’s one of those books that creeps up on you. Quiet and unassuming at first, but by the end, it leaves you feeling completely wrecked. The writing is simple yet so powerful, and the way it captures love, longing, and the weight of unspoken words is just heartbreaking. I didn’t expect it to stay with me the way it has, but now I can’t stop thinking about it. Such a beautifully melancholic read.

Ella | 1 comments I thought it was beautifully written and so beautiful to read about a pure, devastating, male longing. I'm not sure I've ever cared so much about a male character before and I've been really thinking about this book since finishing it. I also appreciated the presentation of women's frustration of wanting be loved and adored but not possessed, owned or having anything expected from them. I found this to an accurate representation of the female experience and I appreciated the nuance with which it was written despite it being written by a male author. xxx
