Do you like the series about Alex (Barney) Barbaby?

I didnt think about Nascar being only an American sport. If you can call it a sport. It started because bootleggers (people making alcohol during the 1930's when it was illegal in America) where trying to out drive the authorities. I dont watch it but some of those drivers are YUMMY.

Remember it is just some of the drivers some of them are not so yummy

I did enjoy these books but the one thing I love
about the Plum books is that there is something
so human about Stephanie.Her jeans get too tight,
she has bad hair days,she isn't perfectly gorgeous all the time.She is just easier to like and relate to.It's great to have a strong female character who isn't always strong and perfect.

I loved this series. Then again maybe it's because I love NASCAR and they were written in and around Miami so I could definitely picture it all happening.

I actually read this series before checking out the Plum Series.. and i'm loving that one too!

I just finished Metro Girl and am starting on Motor Mouth.

Can anyone tell me who Dave was in Metro Girl? Toward the end (chapter 15, page 269 in the hardback - which is 2 pages into the chapter), when Hooker realizes Dave is one of the guards from that abandoned cabana, he punches him .... like Hooker had been betrayed by Dave. I skimmed back through the book and didn't see his character any earlier.

Anyone place him elsewhere in the book??

Now I need to go reread the book
