Force has conditioned us to expect bad stuff when one of them goes out on their own. There was nothing at all wrong with it. No reason to expect any problem. No reason to expect an armed woman, again. The only thing Freddie could have done different was disarm her as soon as he saw the gun instead of going along with her. But he was surprised and shocked and not expecting what happened.Sam was quick to realize that Freddie needed help and wasted no time going after him.
What they learned from Sam’s experience was to share where they were going with someone. It’s how Sam knew to send help. Freddie kept his cool and did what he does best. He showed remarkable composure while zoning in on Hattie and keeping his wits about him.
You would think that after what happened to Sam, they would learn not to go places without backup - sigh!As to Sam's new friend - what exactly was the purpose of this? It's sweet that she tags along, but why? So we could see Sam being nice to someone for a change?
LOL. I was wondering the same thing, Lauren. Why is Sam suddenly taking an interest in this student and showing her around the station? It was very unlike Sam to do this.
Maybe Force is trying out a kinder, gentler Sam. A less in your face persona that softens her normal personality with the hope we see her as other than the self-serving bitch she really is.
