can yall recommend me some books that are AMAZING like not just 5 stars but like a hundred⭐⭐⭐. i want to read actual good books😭😭😭 (ignore the tsoa, i have no idea how goodreads works)

Both of these are a bit heavy in subject matter, but they are also such amazing books. I am planning on coming back to them soon. They are considered classics for a very good reason.
I just finished Crime and Punishment: easily one of the best books I've ever read. Loved it! It gives amazing insight into the human condition, and I loved all the nuance. None of the characters are perfectly righteous, but none are perfectly wicked either. Highly recommend (maybe with the exclusion of the epilogue, which I did not like very much).
Also just finished The Bell Jar today. So great! Again, gives thoughtful insight into the human condition, especially that of women in the 1950's and mental health struggles. Some parts are difficult (when Esther sinks deeper into her depression and tries to commit suicide), but I think the difficulty is very much worth the elegant prose, wit, satire, and reflection.

I sat surfing around Goodreads and stumbled upon this post, a bit late.
I can totally recommend James By Percival Everett such a good and fast read.
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch if you're into Thriller/Sci-Fi such a good book in my opinion.

Butcher's Crossing by John Williams is very very good as well, just very well written.

You mention TSOA yourself - Highly recommend this if you haven't read that either.

Not sure if this will be seen or not, but I just stumbled upon this forum question.

Hey! One book I realy love is In Memoriam by Alice Winn, in summary, it is about two british soldiers in WWI who are romantically attracted to each other, but it is devastating, and the definition of a page-turner. You cannot put it down once you start it!
