Sam thinks Nick is mad at her for leaving her detail behind to go to the hostage scene. However, he has a sobering conversation with her that seems to change her position. Do you think it made a difference? Why is she so stubborn on the issue?

Sam finally realized that her actions impacted Nick and caused him anxiety and added to his stress. It finally got through that she is important to him; he loves her and is scared when she willingly puts herself in danger.

I have no idea why she has been so stubborn on this issue, as often as she has been injured, you would think that she would take that as a hint that she is not indestructible.

Again, I’m not sure what Force was trying to accomplish here. For Sam to know that Nick would be “mad” reinforces she’s aware that she did something wrong. Nick’s approach was great but this is a conversation you’d be having with a teenager.

Force needs to put this thing down now. No one believes that someone in Sam’s position on the force wouldn’t completely get the inherent risks to now being the First Lady. She should be begging to figure this out and develop a workable solution. This made me so angry.

Sam's immaturity was on full display here. You are so right, that was a conversation you would be having with a teenager. This was an act of rebellion, and I hope that Sam realized that she is not going to get away with stuff like this and grow up.
