Thanks, I'll have to try it, but I just realised that it wouldn't work for 82. because there are only 3 books and everyone has to read a different one.

If I reread the Psy-Changeling series, it would have to be book 1. I bought several of the audiobooks in that series with the intention to that at some point, so I don't mind doing that.

Signups for this round closed on Earth Day. Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 every year. It is a worldwide event to raise awareness for environmental issues and encourage protection of the planet. To honor Earth Day, read a book with a 22 (combined, not separated) in the initial publication date OR read a book with both green AND blue on the cover, teams decide. If using the publication date option, make sure you use the initial publication date. If there is a date at the top of the editions page - use it! Otherwise, I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include the initial publication date in your completion posts. If using the cover option, the qualifying covers need to have both blue AND green on the cover. They do not have to be the primary colors, but both must be present. You can use any edition’s cover as your qualification. Please include the qualifying cover in your completion posts. If in doubt, please ask.

They do not have to be a certain amount of either color, but both colors must be on the cover.

22 could be 2022 or the 22nd of any month.

Just popped in to see the first task. I agree with 22 in the publication date as well.

I suggest that we go on the majority rule if waiting on a decision for a task going forward.

Another great read by Helen Harper. Fiendish Delights focuses less on a treasure hunt and more on a magical power struggle. As Otis observes, it's also the 'longest session of foreplay the world has ever seen’ between Daisy & Hugo. However, the book ends on an interesting cliff hanger for Daisy and I'm keen to read what happens next.

When her sister begs Conleigh to help her out, she does it without question which is why at 17 she is now a mom to a beautiful daughter. Years later she meets her neighbor Gage. While Conleigh is happy with the life she has built with her daughter Collins, she finds a strength in Gage she needs with all the trouble swirling around them. Conleigh is a force and I thought Collins was adorable. One of my favorite authors.

Review: Have you ever read a series that you weren't sure you actually liked, but things keep happening right at the end to make you pick up the next book? That's what's happening here, although this one is a bit better than the first. The beginning picks off where the cliffhanger in book 1 ended. Now Olivia says she's done with Sawyer, but that lasts all of 5 minutes and anyway her response to finding out something from her past was to act like the young person she is instead of actually talking to him about it.

By the end of this one everyone knows about them, and another bombshell is dropped to cause this one to end with a cliffhanger as well. I haven't looked to see if their story goes past 3 books, but if it does with this drama being dragged out, I think I'll just never know how it ends. We'll see.

I have 4 books, plus any for this challenge that I'm trying to complete between 04/28-04/30. I was trying to do shorter books for the 4 for the other challenge but was only able to find one that fits the guidelines for page count so far.

The writing style was more YA than the first two books due to the young main characters & their antics. I'm still not a fan of Hunter, but I bought into his love for Em and admire his willingness to fight for her.

Reread since it had been a ton of years ago. I liked the idea of this but both Marie and Horse were awful to each other, at times brutally so. Just didn't like the chemistry and name calling.

Review: It's been a while since I read the other books in this series, so I don't remember exactly what I felt about them, but looking at my previous ratings lets me know there's been some ups and downs along the way. This is Painter & Mel's story. From the Prologue I had assumed the story was about to take off from that point, but it was just glimpse of what was ahead in their future.
Mel had a crush on Painter, then he was arrested, and they became pen pals. He wanted her as well, but he thought she deserved something better than he could provide.
Of course there was some back & forth about this until they collide, then oops. A baby and he freaks out. Why do people act surprised when a baby comes from unprotected sex? I would understand if you know you used a condom and she was on birth control, but what do you expect when you don't use anything at all?
Anyway, along with their relationship drama there are some moves being made in the club as well as against the club and the eventually lose a member.
Her friends annoyed me, but at the same time I would like to see a book featuring Jessica after everything she's been through.

I liked reading about Reese and London, but I needed to see more scenes with the other members from the club, especially after London’s decision (view spoiler)[(she tried to kill Reese because the cartel was threatening Jessica) (hide spoiler)]. I did want to read about Melanie and Painter, but I was hoping there would be a book about someone else before that.
