Since I'm probably not going to get much reading done in the next few days, I'm planning on taking this to Germany with me and reading it on the plane(s). That means I'll start it on the 18th.
I'm taking it with me. I'll finish Chinese Cinderella The True Story of an Unwanted Daughter pretty quickly (I think), and will start on The Pillars of the Earth after that.
Sounds good! Hopefully I'll be able to start it this weekend, though I still have about 450 ereader pages left.
Okay, so I haven't started yet, but WILL be starting this weekend. Life got busy, and I still have 373 ereader pages (so about 150 real pages) left to read in Shantaram. The end of the book is in sight, and I am really wanting to finish it up, so it should be a quick finish - though I won't be reading much today or tomorrow. I'm hoping to find lazy time on Friday to finish it up. :)
I'm on page 670. The first few pages took me a little bit longer to read, but after that, it's been going pretty quickly. It's a very good book and I can't wait till you've started it so we can talk about it!
You're fine...I've had a lot of time in the last few days to read...I'll be home tomorrow afternoon if you want to do something tomorrow evening.
I've finally started! I just finished the forward written by the author. Did you read it? I did find it interesting. Now to the book!
Ohhh Agnes died, and Tom asked Ellen to marry him. I'm currently reading about Phillip. It's a book that's HARD to put down!!!!
It is... It really sucks you in. It was sad when Agnes died and he had to give up his son. Even though we didn't get to see her very long, I liked her.
I know... In Germany, when everyone else laid down to take a nap (and I was tired too), I couldn't put the book down. I stayed up late reading it. I didn't get much sleep in Germany because of this book.
About page 200!!!!! I want to READ!!!! William is syping and trying to win Aliena... Philip got used and promoted.
I don't like William. He has no redeeming qualities at all. He only gets worse as the book continues... Aliena, on the other hand is awesome!
Okay, Jack just set fire to the church, and now he's trying to figure out if he can jump down from the tower... I want to read!
I know...I had to stop during that part too. It was hard to sit there with grandma for hours while I wanted to know if he made it!
Good! Let's see... William is trying to figure out what to do about the Kingsbridge market right now. He's just realized that Richard has a chance to inherit the land. Ohhhhh I want to read!
No, at work... getting ready to take William to the ER... not sure what I'll be doing after that...
Same stuff as before. We have a follow up appointment with my doctor tomorrow, and he'll be seeing a pediatric cardiologist by next Friday. Stressed much? Yes, I am! Also trying to figure out when I'm supposed to finish Christmas shopping...
Turning blue? That sucks. I thought he was done with that! If you want to go shopping later this week let me know. If there's anything at all that I can do to help you, please tell me!
Tomorrow works for me. I have a chiro appt on Sat. at 11, and sometime this weekend I've got to go out to Amana. Other than that, I don't have any plans for this weekend.
Not much... but Alfred has just been turned down in his proposal for marriage... :) I'm getting hit by a cold bug HARD, so I'll probably be heading to bed without reading tonight too. By this weekend things should start to calm down a bit!
The bread is AWESOME!!! THANKS!

Hey!!! I'm planning to be going crazy reading this weekend! (Friday before my doctors appointment, and Saturday at commencement, plus any other time I can manage!) Are you in the mood to read World Without End sometime soon?
Sounds good to me! I'll have to go out and get it though.
I was wondering if you wanted to have dinner on Sunday. I was thinking I could fix something and bring it over and bring presents and we could have a little christmas party. Let me know if that fits into your schedule.

I can't commit yet - but it sounds like fun! I'll be working 8 hours on Saturday, and at some point Wimmie has to go in and work 4 hours this weekend. I've also got to get the house ready for Christmas and figure out when I'll be wrapping presents.
Shall we maybe decide on Saturday evening?

Either one works for me. Just let me know.
If there's anything I can do to help you, just tell me and I'll be there!
