Sometimes we want to read in our familiar comfortable place for readathons. Sometimes we will read in a special place for readathons or this readathon or for a certain section of the readathon. There are so many decisions about where to read. Where have you read? Where are you reading? Where might you read this readathon?

Susan | 697 comments Started reading in bed this morning and spent time outside & inside on the recliner.

I usually sit on this small loveseat that is just the right size for my legs and feet--short legs and small feet--with a table next to me with all the stuff I need for a long read time.

Yet today I sat out on my small porch for about an hour near my small container garden.

Everything compact and just right for me.

Ann A (readerann) | 909 comments I read a lot in bed, but also love a comfy chair outside in natural light. I've done both today!

Lamilla | 868 comments My favourite place for now is my bed with my dog sleeping alongside me. It is very calming and I can concentrate on the text easily. I used to listen to an audiobook while doing chores or walking outside, but this time I don't have any on my TBR stack

What is the weather like for you today, Ann? I wouldn't have minded reading outside, but it's quite windy and cold.

After the next hour, my final official co-mod hour, I will go to bed to put my legs up the wall while I listen to Mrs. Caliban by Rachel Ingalls. I have had this on my tbr for a long time.

I have a reading room but I never read in it. Feels too lonely.

I read in the living room. I like seeing what my family is doing all the time.

There is a lot of truth in that Vavita 😀

Vicki Willis | 585 comments I love to read while floating in the pool, but it is not quite time for that yet. I also like reading outside in my hammock, but today was rainy and cold so I was stuck inside.
Right now I am reading in bed but I usually fall asleep so we will see.

My usual spot is on the couch in the lounge by the window with a cup of coffee on the ledge (or sometimes precariously balanced on the couch) and my dog next to me. When the weather is good, I love to sit outside under the tree (although I have to be wary of bird poop).

message 12: by Rebecka (new)

Rebecka (hoppeduponbooks) | 178 comments I usually read in my local pub and did so this time also for a short while. (Saturdays can be noisy) I also read on my balcony, it was wonderful in the sun.

Cathy (cathepsut) | 663 comments On my sofa! And in bed for the last few pages. One the balcony would have been nice, but it was still to cold this time.

Catsalive | 183 comments In bed, where I fell asleep reading, & in a nice hot bath, where I also fell asleep reading - didn't dunk my book, though :0)

Save! I could never keep the book out of the water. Well done, Cat.
