hiii, so I had that question, everytime it says read book with the mc, a lake etc...how do u log that?

Ok so I played this last year and Annie can correct me if I'm wrong (she'll do that tomorrow morning), so there are prompts in the main spreadsheet (the one with the monopoly board you can check it out) and many of the prompts have for example "blue cover" or "the title with a W", you can add these as notes in the "Notes/Just..." column.

for example: You read "Winter Soldier" but you haven't landed on that prompt yet so you write "The title starts with a W" in that column. In the future, if you land on it, you know that you have read a book that fits the prompt.

There is an example there. + write "the mc.. + the lake" in the column that I mentioned earlier.

hii so myriam you're right on that but u cant use a read thats old like max if someone finished their read 2 days ago then they can use the read to buy the property

but the notes yes even if youve read it, others in ur team can read it in the future if you guyswnana buy the property
also justifications r for just a simple explanation as how the book fits the prompt, doesnt have to be long just short and sweet

im going to explain an important concept/part of the game

im sure u guys r aware u log ur books in the team tracking sheet as a "salary book"
now in the main sheet each team has a section where 10 spaces are empty its called a deposit. captains will put 10 books that have the most pages

now after the 10 spaces r filled w books, when ur team passes a purple space in the game board, you receive the total of that money...

it is automated so if u write the number of pages read it'll count pages x0.10= $

So like hypothetically speaking if we landed on subway top right and got transferred to the subway on bottom left...where do the players go next on their turn? Upwards or to the right?

Same with railway, if we landed on the railway on bottom left and got transferred to the railway on the middle top right, where would the player move next on their turn, To the bottom or to the left?

That's why im asking if the players would move in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction (would switch direction) when transferred.

for your first q , we are moving in clockwise direction so even if you reach the other railway, u can choose which way u wanna go

and for direction you must be talking about transit station- WHEN APPROACHING OR LANDING ON A "TRANSIT STATION/RAILROAD",
YOUR ROLL DETERMINES YOUR DIRECTION.
EXAMPLE: IF YOU ARE ON "YELLOW CAB COMPANY" SPACE AND ROLL A 3, YOUR ROLL WOULD END ON EITHER "INDIANA AVENUE" OR "VENTNOR AVENUE". IF YOU ROLLED A 4, YOUR ROLL ENDS ON "WEST TEMPLE

Will all the books, irrespective of genre, count towards the 0.10 $/page?
And do all members need to read the same book, or just need to follow the prompt?
And by when do we need to finish the said book? I mean is there a time limit or smthng?

1) salary books r 0.10$ per page ,
ballot box/community chest/chance r 0.30$ per page
library 0.05$ per page

2) noo all members do not have to read the same book, just one book w the minimum no of pages and that fits the prompt is ok but it must be read 4 days ago or lesser (if someone has alr read a book matching prompt) if not then time period is around 2 days but ofc we understand if it takes longer but note that if the book is not done by the time of ur next turn, u cannot buy that property.. so its best to finish it as fast as u can if u are reading currently

A quick question: We rolled and got 8 and we landed on the subway, is there something we are supposed to do or is our turn over? (We are now at the other terminal).

ur turn is over now and u can choose which way to go at the next roll

What are the brain tasks and red tasks on the ballot box?

green tasks shows earning
red shows losing money

For the spinner wheel spaces, team 2 landed on ballot box but the wheel attached to the spreadsheet was for the community chest so they added their book to the community chest page of the spreadsheet. Does this mean that the same prompts are used for chest, ballot and chance? I know that the wheels disappeared at the start of the game so it made things difficult but I'm just a bit confused

okay the ballot box wheel i just realised IT LED TO THE COMMUNITY CHEST ONE IM SO SORRY THATS MY BAD

Don't stress too much!! I just wanted to make sure you knew but I don't think you need to rush since there isn't a big chance a team with roll on one of the spaces for a bit
