it's my first time joining a current read, does people write about the books at the end? 🙈 because nobody is commenting on the spoiler thread and I'm dying to talk about the chapters I'm reading through! hahaha

Some permit talking about the book as you read if you put your comments between spoiler marks, others rigidly police the non-spoiler file to only comments like, “I started this read.” I don’t know what this bookclub does, but I believe you can post in the spoiler file the comments you want to as you read the chapters. However, maybe you’d have to skim the comments of others who have finished the book there, if that matters.
I think it is fine for you to comment on your own experience i grief, other books you read by the author, or whether you liked the book or not. But if you are going to comment about what happened in chapter 7, put it in the spoiler thread. With this particular book, though, I would argue there are not a lot of spoilers. Most of the key events are in the description of the book.

The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion, nominated by Elina.
Here you can comment, without spoilers, on any aspects of the book, either before, during, or after reading it.
