Bri’s Book Nook discussion

We(as in my friends and I, but anyone can join in on the discussion) are starting the silent patient today and are reading part one by May 10th. This discussion board and the others for this one will be completely full of spoilers and discussion. I might make one at the end of this that is just all final thoughts so I can have an overall discussion a well as a portion one.

-Tbh I imagine that every therapist study’s phycology for the same reason, they think something is wrong with them and trying ti figure out why

-is he like obsessed with her spending years training so he can be her therapist ??? I feel like he has too much interest in this girl and the fact they hired him… is it because he is a psychopath and said all the right thing ??

-I’m not a mystery or thriller type girly like that but I’m into this. It’s like the exact kind of mystery that I like so far. I’ll let you know if it’d trade soon enough.

-what if the book’s last line is her first time talking. That would be crazy.

-I’ve been reading some and listening to some and tbh his accent is yummy. I think ima just tangent read this shit

1st... The is giving Joe Goldberg from "You". He is definitely obsessed with Alicia.
I feel like either killed Alicia's husband or she was influenced to kill him.
Theo's daddy issues and how he deals with them definitely gives sociopath tendencies.
So far we only get Alicia's diary, I hope we get her actually talking in her POV.
Theo's wife.... WTF brah...she judges him for smoking but she is out here getting her back blown out by someone else. Like ma'am... who are YOU to judge????
OOOO I wonder if he ends her and he is a serial killer?!?! THAT would be interesting.
