I'm looking at the letters and it looks like "hyena" gives us the most points this round unless anyone can see something else.

We need to read books for every letter we have right? I'm currently reading a book that starts with N.

Do we all decide which letters we are reading for?

If you save the s you build another word next turn and get points for the new word plus the old one. Using the s on the first turn does not help us get maximum points

I'll be reading a book that starts with the letter O

I added all the team member names to the sheet when updating for letter N which I finished reading for.

I'm a bit confused. If we all pick a letter, there aren't enough for each person to pick one.

I think we should just read books and if there’s a letter available that fits your book, post it on the review thread and add it to the spreadsheet. It will make it easier for everyone and hopefully we’ll be able to complete more letters quicker. What do you think?

Hi! I've seen some questions about word placement, so just wanted to drop in and remind folks that the first word of a Scrabble game has to go through the star in the middle! After that the only placement rule is that you have to connect to at least one previous word

When we finish the "y" we will want to place our word for maximum points at D8,E8,F8,G8,H8 with the H on D8.

Let's go ahead with HYENA. The Scrabble board shows as View Only for me.
