I've read The Spellshop already this year and don't want to re-read but I'll join in for Patient Zero. :)

I really enjoyed Elatsoe earlier this month.

I read Spellshop a month or two ago -- kind of meh for me. There is a HUGE contrast between that and Maberry.

Hope | 149 comments Yeah "Cozy fantasy with slow plot" on one hand and then "zombie terrorists" on the others are totally different vibes.

I needed an excuse to read The Spellshop (I won a copy in a giveaway and it's so pretty!) so I will give that a go. I've heard good things about Maberry but I personally hate zombies so I'm conflicted if I want to read it or not.

Hayley | 563 comments I've read a few books by Sarah Beth Durst and enjoyed them all but I'm not really a fan of cozy fantasy so torn on whether to give this a try or not.

Same. It was nominated by the library for their semi-annual contest, so you read and vote and get entered in a drawing per vote.

It depends what I can get from my library as I have no money already in June :(
Although The Spellshop is on Spotify so I could do that one that way
