Well....umm...I've never read a romance type novel before. So...help?...anybody? 🤔

Lately life seems short, and times flying by, so being an open-minded guy, who craves new experiences, I'm open to any suggestions for my first delve into romance!

Oooh Davo.. my friend... Let's see... Okay, first tell me what do you think you'd like with your first romance read? Mystery, Action, Drama, or all the above? Open door love scenes or fade to black ones?? Sci-fi, paranormal, or real world themes?

If you answer all these honestly, I'll find you a great romance read to break your Romance book cherry..

Paranormal sounds fascinating so I'm going with that. Although I'm ok with real life or sci/fi.

Okay..So the theme could be either of the choices, as long as the love scenes are not as graphic, with a mystery/intrigue plot... Got it..

Okay so I lied.. Apparently I didn't need 48 hrs... I have two books here.. Now they aren't heavy on the mystery angle, but they are in the realm of easing you into the romance genre, without boring you to tears.. They do have some open door love scenes, but they are not extremely explicit in their delivery, nor plentiful.

The first one which I HIGHLY recommend you start first is Hearts in Darkness- This is an awesome quick, sweet, and romantic read. But it has a slight edge to it. Honestly, I think the author was spying on me, cause the topic of this book is eerily familiar with a scenario I experienced personally, several years back. LOL! No joke... But this is a great read though. It's quick and I think you'll like it.
To get a feel for it, you can read my review for it HERE Don't worry, I never post spoilers in my reviews. The book is NOT on Kindle Unlimited, but it is only $2.99 to purchase.

The other book is Latte Darling- Now I think you'll like this one too, It's kinda funny and sweet with a bit of spice.. It is on Kindle Unlimited or $4.99 to purchase.

BONUS: Now, I know you said you wanted to ease into things, but if you're in the mood for something more mystery driven, paranormal/fantasy, and dangerous, then I highly recommend the best book ever written for this genre The Golden Dynasty- It is truly an EPIC read.. I've read this book at least 100xs or more over the years and I love it each time I read it. It is currently on Kindle Unlimited or $5.99 to purchase in the U.S. Not sure how it looks for you where you are though.. But if is on KU for you, go ahead and download it, so it will still be in your library, even if they remove it from KU before you read it.

You'll love this book.. it has everything in it you like. Fantasy, action, romance, it is erotic yes, but tastefully so... Lots of brutality too, due to the culture and their belief systems.. It's just a great read all around. It hits you right in the gut, but fascinates you all at once..
