Still, I don't think I can classify this one as a sci-fi raunchy f^ck read.. There's been no erotica of ANY kind in this story so far, but the story is phenomenal! There are parts that are so simple it makes the flow of the book insanely well paced, if a bit campy. Then there are other areas where the story is just flat out intense and scary, heartbreaking with the happenings surrounding these characters. But at the core it's shaping to be a sweet and romantic read as well.

I'm still loving this book.. but I can't help but notice that I'm 83% in, and NO ONE has phucked yet!!! Like WTH?!!

This is still Alien sci-fi romance, right?? 🤔

And Miranda.. she's pissing me off with how stupid she's being. Why does she keep sneaking out of the compound? Does she not realize she can ask one of the many warriors to accompany her if she wants something outside of the walls?? Given what happened to her last time, I wouldn't be eager to go get those flowers anyway.. Phuck dem flowers!

And WTF is up with them not just killing Crius once they learned the truth and how deep his betrayal goes?

My poor Drak... He's been through it! But I love him! He's so sweet! And so hot.. Dude can phuck with a single minded focus of only his mate's pleasure.. Hawt.. Capable. Loyal. Fierce.

I am loving this book.. Some things are making me think I may have to update my 2020 review for this book, once I'm done with my re-read of it.. I have been crying, angry and just flat out shocked at some of the things that have been revealed here regarding Drak and the origin of his PTSD and his history with the Night Kings clavas..

Will be starting chap 15 as soon as I am able.

I just finished Drixonian Warriors: The Complete Series
for a LBR with another group I'm in.
I don't typically read sci-fi, just not my thing. This series was amazing! I will definitely be reading more from this author!
