hello gremlins!! we’re going to hold our botms mystery-style (at least for this first month!)
you’ll be given a vague description of a book and will vote for the description you like best. i’ll try my best to not make it too obvious, but since it’s the first month we’re doing it the clues will probably be easy 🙂‍↕️

unfortunately, i’m unable to create polls right now (mobile 😔) but the votes for both the botm and the theme of the month will be started soon!

below, you’ll find some descriptions for june’s botm if you want to start thinking abt your votes 😋

option one— alternate history fantasy with found family, standalone

option two— main character is named after a plant, 1st book in a wildly famous series (if I say anything else it WILL give it away)

option three— has been made into a musical, classic, depressing and very american (not in a bad way)

option four— six of crows but if it had vampires

option five— romance by a very popular author, rivals-to-lovers, very cute and entertaining

and please use this topic as a chance to discuss everything related to the botm/possible botms! i won’t confirm guesses but you’re free to make them :)

1 sounds like my cup of tea, i'm torn over 4 since i adore soc but i'm not the fondest of vampires

2 may or may not be hunger games, i'm lost as to the other 4, i'm thinking 5 could be an emily henry?

maybe i just want everyone to read it 😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️ hehe all of these books are personal recs of mine so I don’t do anyone dirty, and in fact I wrote the description before i knew you’d liked soc!

1. I am unsure about, definitely between two things. 2. has got to be Hunger Games!! 3. probably is The Great Gatsby. 4. A Tempest of Tea 100%. 5. Ann Liang book probably I Hope This Doesn't Find You or If You Could See the Sun
