Josie and Noah come across a pregnant woman in the road that’s a short distance on from the Sanctuary. She’s in labor and Josie ends up delivering the baby right there. What was your supposition in this moment about the how and why of her being out in the middle of nowhere? When, if ever, did you figure out she was deaf?

They were already looking for a missing woman and when another woman pops up in the middle of the road, that is quite a coincidence. I thought she had been held somewhere and escaped. I figured out she was deaf when Josie did.

I thought she escaped her captor, and there was some connection to the other woman who was missing. Like Anita, I figured out she was deaf when Josie did.

I thought there was a connection because the coincidences were screaming at me. I didn’t realize she was deaf until Josie made the declaration.
