Josie escapes from the Sanctuary hideout with Emilia and is saved with help from Michael Donovan. How surprised were you that he turned out to be a “hero” for the moment? Your thoughts about him given his abuse of Maya? Do you think he would have killed her?

I was really surprised Donovan was there and beat Jack so soundly. I didn't think of him as a decent person and with Josie there I was surprised he helped her at all.

I had a tough time with Donovan and Maya. All we knew we got from Maya, and she lied. I don't think he would have killed Maya, but we really didn't know much about him.

It surprised me that Donovan was out of jail and trying to rescue Josie and Emlia. The beating he gave to Jack was a little confusing. It made me think that he knew something about Jack. His anger issues made me think he could kill anyone with the right trigger.

I remembered that he murdered his wife and he was prone to violence. I believe he would have killed Maya but she went to him so it doesn’t feel like self defense. He surprised me in saving Josie and Emilia but that might have been more to get back at Jack. This guy was dangerous.
