I've really learned a lot from reading Jeff Goodell's writing over the years, including his book The Water Will Come - an early book club pick! When this came out recently I knew we needed to read it too. This book explores the dangers related to a rise in global temperatures from climate change, especially related to human health. I haven't read it yet but from summaries it seems to explore heat waves and impacts on populations (like 2003 in Europe, 2021 in North America, etc). I'm interested to read this and let me know what you think!

I'm just about to pick up my copy from my local library, and I am really looking forward to it. I tend to read mostly plant/bird related books, but climate change is definitely on my agenda as well!
Finished the book in one go. Very journalistic approach but over very fascinating and informative. The different takes from worldwide to centralized really brought everything together and into perspective. We are ALL impacted. The book is realistic and down to earth which I feel a lot of people need to hear.
