JUST finished
and it was so good, but some really heavy parts. I'm counting it as "what are you reading" because I had finished as I opened this post, lol. Debating on when to start book 2 because it's long and probably also heavy, but it's also really good to listen to at work where I'm trapped for 9 hours, so maybe tomorrow.
I don't know what I'm going to read tonight when I get into bed. I should consult the stars aka the Impossible Solar System challenge :D

This is on my TBR, and I made the (impulsive) decision to buy the reallllly pretty deluxe/collectors edition... which means I just bought the newest release of #2's matching copy...
And I still haven't read the first. I am a problem.

I read Everything Is Tuberculosis: The History and Persistence of Our Deadliest Infection yesterday, and today I'm reading The Crane Husband!
I have (insanely) started a tandem read of Ulysses and The Odyssey! If anyone wants to going our Team Group Buddy Read of Ulysses, feel free, and if you want to do the full tandem, you're more than welcome to discuss it there as well!
Hi, I'm currently reading a book by Zoe Draven - The Horde King Shadow. It's a relaxing read, don't look between the lines :D the point of tough responsible guys with a gentle soul is never boring
I started Apprentice to the Villain last night, because I looked at the books I'm currently reading and just couldn't make myself pick them up. I needed something silly.
Other books I'm in the middle of:
I’m reading a book called When Christmas Comes: A Single Dad, Age Gap Christmas Romance by Christine Rimmer
Currently reading
. It's pretty depressing and I keep wanting to stop reading it but I also feel compelled to finish it. Her life is just really messed up and unstable, which contributes to some anxiety for me.
I'm also reading an old favorite that I think I last read 10 years ago.
Will be following it up with the finale of the trilogy:
I'm listening to
because I always enjoy this ridiculous series when I'm working and can't really focus on deeper stories.
